Educational requirements:

Grade 12

B Com finance or business related fields (Qualification must be completed)

1-2 years’ experience within an insurance related/broker support role

OR

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (Essential)
Financial Advanced Diplomas/National Degrees (Essential)
Financial Services or Certified Financial Planning Certificate. FAIS Key Individuals RE 1. (Preferred)
Certifications
Certified Planning Certificate (Essential)
1-2 years’ experience within an insurance related/paraplanner role

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

Preparing financial analysis for clients and risk management needs analysis

Continuously monitor client financial situations with detail and accuracy

Regular changing in priorities and diary management

Appointment scheduling

Diary management

Creating comparative insurance quotes

Compiling service quotes for life and investment products

Adhere to the company’s work process flow timeously

Adapt to changes or improvements implemented by management

Answering of telephones, taking and relaying messages

Making of appointments and schedule meetings

Maintain calendar and client database

Gather information from clients and reinsurers for renewal negotiations

Keep accurate and up to date records

Maintain files and filing

Accurately record written and verbal correspondence with clients and reinsurers

Assist clients and reinsurers with queries

Assist with presentations and reports

Handle and finalise renewals with management supervision

Preparation of placing slips, cover notes and wordings

Assist with research on new clients

Assist with research on new products

Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients and reinsurers

Continually seek opportunities in order to secure new business

Marketing and networking with new, existing and potential clients
