Manufacture new moulds per mould design.
Modify existing moulds to customer engineering changes.
Maintain customer moulds.
Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure part/tooling meets specifications.
Provide input to support the design of new moulds and improvements of existing mould designs.
Provide technical support for all other departments.
Fabricates and assembles components using hand tools to ensure completed tools, dies, jigs or fixtures working properly.
Ensures that all tooling requirements are executed and built in a timely manner and are delivered ready for development.
Complete special projects as assigned by department manager.
Must be able to work independently and/or with a team to meet established deadlines.
Certified Mould Maker preferred.
Plastics & Injection Moulding experience preferred with at least 5 years’ experience.
Knowledge & ability to design tools using auto cad preferred.
Requires ability to: plan, prioritize and organize work effectively, work under pressure and time deadlines.
ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System experience preferred.
Highly organized and detailed with a positive attitude.
Excellent Communication Skills.
