The position demands competence and skills in performing the following duties:
Organize functions like news conferences, tours, product launch parties and speaking engagements that help gain the public's or special interest group's attention. The public relations consultant is responsible for making sure all key people are in attendance and that publicity materials are properly produced.
Execute integrated PR campaigns across multiple channels
Management, tracking and reporting of integrated campaigns based on defined goals
Proactive media pitching, managing media relations and crisis communications situations
Developing and managing company’s brand strategy with social media content and execution
Work with the CEO, COO and sales team to relay information regarding public perceptions and other research findings.
Work cross-functionally with marketing and internal communications.
Write press releases about the company's issues and events and put them into the hands of media professionals to broadcast or publish.
Write and edit newsletters, reports, brochures, speeches, product information, trade magazine articles and other communications material.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
Advanced skills in Word, Excel and Power Point, Adobe
