Recruitment: We recruit or headhunt candidates based on client specifications from suitable recruitment sources. We have an extensive database of candidates, but will also use other methods to find suitable candidates for our clients.

Interviewing: Trained consultants conduct in-depth personal interviews to find a suitable match between the client and the candidate. For senior level positions we can conduct competency based interviews on client request with a subsequent report for the client on the outcomes.


Referencing: Our referencing procedures include verification of references given on the CV. If so required at an additional cost, a neutral registered Psychometrist will be instructed to conduct detailed personality and aptitude assessments. Criminal checks, credit checks and validation of Qualifications and ID checks are available on request at an additional cost.

Screening: We select the best-suited candidate/s and give a brief evaluation to the client on our findings. The client can then select the most suitable candidate/s to interview or appoint.

Completed Grade 12 with mathematics (passed)
IT related qualification (ISTQB would be preferable)
Essential: 1+ Years experience in software development preferably web based software application
Good understanding of object orientation, development & testing software applications using SQL and programming skills
Able to write technical test cases
Able to perform OS, VM and Software installations
Must be proficient in written and spoken English
Must have analytical and logical problem solving skills
Be meticulous, organised & detail-oriented
Be able to work well in a team

Preferred skills
ISTQB qualification
Web development experience
Linux Skills
Selenium and SoapUI experience
Test Automation skills & experience

Duties
Drive Technical Testing function (automated) to meet testing requirements with the UI Testing function
Interact with users to gain understanding of requirements.
Create Test Strategies, Test plans and test cases to ensure the release of high quality software
Perform software testing (Backend Testing and Data Validations) to complement existing UI Testing
Automation of system test cases
Performance Testing
Reporting of software defects
Preparation of Test Reports
Setup & maintenance of testing simulation environments
Conduct research of testing methods to recommend improvements
