Technical Solutions Manager (EKE287)
R50 000 – R60 000 per month CTC
An individual who has experience in efficient design, configuration and implementation of customer voice (VOIP) and data services / solutions, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, and other data communications systems.
Analyse customer/business requirements to develop technical network solution and implementation framework.
At least 2 years’ experience managing people
Experience in configuration and implementation of VOIP solutions.
Experience in project management and client communication.
Review of proposed solutions based on customer’s current setup and future requirements.
Perform in depth client network analysis.
Design, test, and inspect customer data communications systems.
Manage & Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for installation related projects.
Communication with customer and internal fulfilment teams regarding proposed solutions.
Manage the installation process of hardware such as IP Phones, PBX, cables, switches, routers, wireless devices and hardware devices.
Interact effectively with customers, internal infrastructure and systems staff to ensure customer expectations are met.
Testing, review and quality approval of installed solutions.
Responsible for the support requirements of newly installed customers. (during incubation period)
Providing feedback should customer solution requirements change during / after the installation process.
Manage the hand-over process from incubation customers to in service support team.
Feedback to the in-service support team on best practices relating to day to day management of support requests.
Solve complex, customer specific voice quality and network problems with many variables.
Develop departmental roadmaps for the improvement of installation / technical support processes.
Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors.
Write functional requirements/specifications documents.
Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
