Looking for Sous Chef for Lodge. Position will start as 3 month contract with review. Interviews will be conducted in Polokwane.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a sous chef position in a 5 star environment.
Strong personality that can think on their feet and work under pressure.
Well-spoken and well-presented individual. Strong leader who have been in charge of employees before.
Must have grade 12.
Formal cooking degree/diploma preferable.
Experience in running functions of up to 250 pax at a five star level.
Train and motivate kitchen staff members. Manage the a la carte and banquetingpass on a dailybasis.
Create and maintain recipes.
Daily meetings and handovers with staff. Staff rostering.
Maintain and achieve food costing targets. Maintain and implement hygiene standards.
Assist with monthly stock takes. Running and overseeing of the hotel breakfasts.
